Directions to Faith United Methodist Church, Delmont (Class Venue)
Some Summerfun theatre classes met away from the barn, in the fellowship hall of Faith United Methodist Church in Delmont. These archived directions explain how families found the class entrance. Using church halls and other community rooms let the theatre run several age groups at once while the barn stage was busy with rehearsals and performances. The class programme itself is described on the 2003 Summerfun Theatre School page.

| Apple Hill Playhouse holds the Summerfun Theater Classes at
Faith United Methodist Church on Freeport Street in Delmont. The "Legion" is located down the street from the Delmont American Legion and Fatur's Foodland Supermarket. It is sprawling, modern church complex surrounded by a large well-tended lawn. Classes are held in the Fellowship Hall or in classrooms adjacent to Fellowship Hall. This room is accessed by driving around to the rear of the church and entering through the side doors located on the covered porch area to the side of the parking area. From Apollo direction on Rt. 66 Stay on Rt. 66 and watch for Valero’s RV dealer on right and then Poly Hi Solidur on the left. Get into the left lane when the road becomes 2 lanes and turn left onto the first street on the left. You will see the church on your immediate left. From Greensburg direction on Rt. 66 Stay on Rt. 66 watch for the intersection in Delmont with the Agway on the right and Carney’s Corner on the left. Continue straight and turn right at the next street on the right AFTER this intersection. The church will be on your immediate left |
