Mel Edison is a well-paid executive of a high-end Manhattan firm, which has suddenly hit the skids, and he gets the ax. His wife Edna takes a job to tide them over, then she too is sacked. Compounded by the air-pollution killing his plants, and with the walls of the apartment being paper-thin, allowing him a constant earful of his neighbors private lives, things can't seem to get any worse… Then he's robbed, and his psychiatrist dies with $23,000 of his money. Mel does the only thing left for him to do – he has a nervous breakdown and it's the best thing that ever happened to him…

Summer of Love

By: Roger Bean

Directed by Tim Jacobs

When a conservative runaway bride discovers the countercultural revolution of the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, the hippies and dropouts of Golden Gate Park teach her to “Make Your Own Kind of Music!” This hippie, trippy musical features the powerful music of the late 1960s with such hits as “Crystal Blue Persuasion,” “War,” “One Tin Soldier,” “Spinning Wheel,” and, of course, “San Francisco.” You’ll love this flower power, feel-good musical experience!

Suite Surrender

By: Michael McKeever

Directed by Thom MacLaughlin

It's 1942, and two of Hollywood's biggest divas have descended upon the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel -- assistants, luggage, and legendary feud with one another in tow. Everything seems to be in order for their wartime performance... that is, until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendres, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious riot of a love note to the classic farces of the 30s and 40s.

Squabbles

By: Marshall Karp

Directed by Ron Ferrara

Jerry Sloan is a successful writer of advertising jingles married to an equally successful lawyer. Living with the happy couple is the not so happy Abe Dreyfus, Jerry's curmudgeon of a father in law. Abe is a funny guy to the audience, not to Jerry. The situation is exacerbated when Jerry's mother Mildred loses her house in a fire and needs a place to stay. Abe and Mildred can't stand each other. This play is one hilarious confrontation after another until the heart-warming finale in which the oldsters discover that, really, each is not so bad.
