Orchard Performing Arts Company, Inc. at Apple Hill Playhouse presents the Marietta Adams Memorial Scholarship to a graduating high school senior who has performed exemplary service in the performing arts and will enter a program of higher learning to pursue a career in the fine, applied or performing arts.

Committee will award up to two (2) $1000 scholarships in the areas of technical theatre and acting, one winner per category. Candidates should be prepared to present a portfolio or monologue, depending on area of major.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicant must be a member of the current year's high school graduating class who has been accepted into an accredited four year college or conservatory program to pursue a career in the fine, applied or performing arts.
Applicant must have provided significant service to OPAC. That service can include performing in and crewing for adult and children's plays, ushering, assisting with load in and strike and any other service intended to enhance productions or facilities.

CRITERIA USED FOR SELECTION: Applications are considered by the OPAC Board of Directors. A successful candidate is that individual who best demonstrates an awareness of the value of performing arts through participation in any and all aspects of theatre.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications must be received at Apple Hill Playhouse by May 15. Proof of college or conservatory acceptance is required. All submissions must be made on the application form posted to the right of this section.

PRESENTATION OF AWARD: A certificate will be presented to the winner during a performance of our midsummer musical.
